Students’ Exciting Visit to Nepal Telecom, Surkhet

27th Falgun, On a bright and curious day, students from Grades 5, 6, and 7 of Celandine Academy embarked on an educational visit to Nepal Telecom, Surkhet. This visit was not just a field trip—it was a hands-on learning experience that introduced young minds to the fascinating world of communication technology.


As the students stepped into the telecom premises, they were warmly welcomed by the staff. The session was filled with insightful discussions about how phone calls work, how signals are transferred, and the different devices used to maintain network connections. From routers to transmission towers, the students got a firsthand look at the technology that powers our daily communication.


The session was highly interactive, with students eagerly asking questions and learning about the internet network, mobile connectivity, and telecom infrastructure. They were amazed to discover how their calls travel through signals, bouncing from one tower to another to reach their destination.


A special thanks to Sushma Gautam, Telecom Officer, who played a crucial role in organizing this visit. Telecom staffs guidance and explanations made the session engaging and easy to understand for the students.

Overall, the visit to Nepal Telecom, Surkhet was a fruitful and enjoyable experience. The students not only gained valuable knowledge but also developed a deeper appreciation for the technology they use every day. The excitement on their faces showed how much they enjoyed the learning process.
